Silver Falls Wedding
Sunny and John were such a blast to work with on this Silver Falls wedding. Really two kind hearted, fun loving people. The kind of folks that makes my day really fun and enjoyable. They got married at Silver Falls State Park Lodge. You might notice there’s no falls in these photos though(we did their engagement photos at the falls). If you’re wanting waterfalls check out one of my favorite locations Latourell Falls. The ceremony was outside the lodge and they really just wanted photos focused on their friends and family enjoying their relaxing wedding day. It was no pressure to deliver epic landscape wedding photos. Just had the chance to focus on great candid, meaningful shots the entire day which was a nice refresher on what’s important.
Cabins and Dancing
The whole wedding day, from getting ready in the cabins, to the first look, to photographing the incredible dancing that went down was like hanging out with old friends. That’s the beauty of getting to know my couples before the wedding day. It really comes through in the photos and how at ease everyone is. Beer and easy going people certainly helps! The wedding day was so low key it felt like I was shooting a big elopement and that energy certainly carried throughout the day with the entire wedding being incredibly easy to photograph and hang out with. Silver Falls is a gorgeous spot for a lodge/cabin wedding if you’re looking to go with that vibe. The waterfalls are easily accessible too if you’re wanting that.
