Winter Themed Farm House Wedding
This winter themed farm house wedding was a whole lot of fun. It was freezing outside that day although you probably can’t tell because there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. It was so bright but almost freezing. The night before I met up with the wedding party at the house for their “rehearsal dinner” which was really just a big get together. It was snowing that night up on the mountain. We were hoping it would snow the next day for the wedding but no such luck
Autumn Chill and Fog
I’ve known Attabel for a long time now. She actually did a lot of my logo and design work that goes into my wedding info packets(if you’ve ever received that from me you can thank her). Their wedding was a wintertime wedding up in the mountains of North Carolina near the city of Asheville. I loved the ambiance of the old home and farm this wedding was set in. The home was huge and had so many eclectic details. My favorite part though was her dress. Attabel bought the dress from a local dress shop and completely redesigned it from the lace to adding sleeves. Even the owner of the dress shop(who I’m good friends with) didn’t recognize it. The other part of this wedding I really enjoyed were all the homemade touches. Attabel being an artist and designer put her touch on everything. The invitations were hand drawn, the flower bouquets were all made by the bridesmaids the day of and much if not all the wedding and reception details were done by Attabel and her friends and family. This whole wedding had a very creative, homemade touch to it that I just loved. And the people were fantastic. The venue was pretty stellar as well. If you’re looking for a intimate mountain wedding location, The Fields at Blackberry Cove is a great place to check out.
