Portland Model Agency Photographer
Being a Portland Model agency photographer I split my time between the east and west coast as I head out to Oregon. I’m really looking to branch out from only weddings and work more in the fashion and lifestyle field while I become more exclusive about the weddings I take. I’m looking to do more outdoor and destination weddings and elopements as I grow this fashion and commercial side of the business. Why you ask? Well to be honest, I really just like having a variety. It’s really refreshing to be able to have a portrait or commercial clients work to focus on while the wedding season is slow in the winter and it keeps me sharp. I’ve known Lindsey for awhile, she’s an incredible model. We actually were locked out of the abandoned church we were planning on shooting so we headed back to her house to talk about their wedding plans(I’m shooting her wedding). I saw the light was coming in just right at sunset so we went outback and photographed this quick session(10 minutes) right next to the apartments AC units. Nothing fancy here folks. I kept the coloring and styling fairly natural compared to some of the other edits I’ve made on this session. It’s easy to get carried away when you’re doing the fashion side of things but I just wanted to keep the light contrasty and moody which I feel we did a good job of. Let me know what you guys think? I’ll be working more with local modeling agencies in the future doing test shoots and all that fun stuff so I really look forward to doing more of this kind of work.
This is an example of the difference in edits. As you can see the bottom one is more stylized.
I’m editing this post to show the updated photos from the original location we weren’t able to shoot at.
