Oregon Road Trip
This wasn’t my first Oregon road trip, but it was certainly one of the more memorable ones.. I was recently out and about for a photography workshop on the coast called Let’s Go run by a few buddies of mine. I decided to spend a good portion of my time taking photos and driving the coastline. Everywhere was so beautiful. The sun rising through the fog and sea mist made for some spectacular scenery. I am always blown away by the beauty on the west coast. These photos really don’t do it justice, you need to see it in person. I started my trip in Ecola State Park which is right next to the famous Cannon Beach. Anywhere in this area is photo worthy and I highly recommend you check it out if you can. After the workshop was over I drove back to Portland for a bit of rest and to have a beer with my good friend at his local bar. The next day I woke early and drove out to Mt. Hood because I had never been to the top of the mountain. I had seen it from Portland plenty of times but I’d never been on the actual mountain itself. The drive out through Sandy and Welches was pretty enough but once you start climbing the mountain everything changes. It’s just a magical place. I even had a herd of elk cross in front of me on the road up the mountain to the ski resort. Once you’re at the top you can see for what seems like one hundred miles. The scenery here is one of the reasons I love being a Portland wedding photographer. I hope you guys love these photos. If you guys like any of them, they’re all for sale in my gallery which is linked HERE.
