Isle of Skye Elopement Photographer

Looking for an Isle of Skye Elopement Photographer… well, here I am. What can I say about Isle of Skye that the photos don’t already say? It was possibly the most beautiful place I’ve ever traveled to. The constant rain and clouds only added to the dramatic scenery and I fell in love with the place. Northern Scotland is really just an amazing place to be able to visit let alone photograph. Stewart and Alina are wedding videographers from Scotland. I was lucky enough to be able to photograph them and some really beautiful spots. The main place we planned to photograph is called Old Man of Storr. On a clear day it’s really something out of this world. The day we showed up to photograph it clouds with winder and rain would literally pass right through and we’d be stuck in a cloud getting rained on from the side for 20 minutes while we waited for it to pass. I love weather like that though. As long as the couple is willing to embrace it like Stewart and Alina did, the photos always turn out incredible.

Mountain Mist and Heavy Rain

After Old Man of Storr we drove around the peninsula and just looked for cool places to photograph. We found Quiraing and a local beach. Both were stunners as well. I’m not going to lie, the weather was downright terrible that day. Each of us was soaked through the bone by the time we were done shooting and my camera gear was not loving it either. Luckily we were able to make it work even with the sideways rain. I’m so glad we did. This is one of my favorite recent shoots. I photographed another session while I was in Scotland up in Glencoe that I’ll be posting in a few days as well. Both places were just incredible and I was so lucky and thrilled to be able to work with awesome couples at both locations.
