Bend Oregon Elopement Wedding
I recently flew out to Portland Oregon for a few photoshoots. This Bend Oregon Elopement wedding was one of them. Amy and Justin had an intimate wedding ceremony in the courthouse but really wanted to have photos that reflected their vision of their perfect wedding day. So instead of doing the actual elopement they were married in the courthouse and we set this photo session up for them to have something to remember the day by. I loved the fact that the snow was sitting on the ground. It wasn’t too deep, just enough to cover the ground and coat the green and browns of the earth to really make them pop from the background. We found this place by just driving around. We could see a small cabin from the road and asked one of the houses if it would be ok to shoot there. They said it was their grandfather’s land it would be fine. The whole shoot from start to finish took roughly over an hour. It was one of the shorter, simpler elopement shoots I’ve ever done but I still really enjoyed my time photographing Amy and Justin. Anytime I get a chance to go out into the outdoors with my couples is a good day for me as I really enjoy shooting outdoors more than any indoor venue. Bend Oregon is also an amazing little town. I really love Portland as well but I could see myself moving out to Bend as I get older and settle down a bit more. There’s so much scenery and outdoor fun to be had in the area. It’s also a great area that can be enjoyed any time of the year as you can see by the snow in the photos. Can’t wait to work out near Bend again.
