Asheville NC Wedding at Claxton Farm
Ty and Lucia had an awesome time during this Asheville NC wedding at Claxton Farm. Asheville is probably one of the more perfect towns for a wedding. Gorgeous mountain scenery, beautiful weather, and a plethora of great venues and outdoor options for wedding ceremonies. Ty and Lucia had their rehearsal dinner at the Grand Bohemian right in Biltmore Village. This place had some amazing woodwork and detail. The location near Biltmore didn’t hurt either. The rehearsal was a blast and perfectly designed along with the wedding by Plum Productions out of Beaufort, SC.
The next day Lucia got ready in an artist styled bungalow in West Asheville. The gents got ready at a hotel in downtown Asheville. After an early morning of hanging out with the girls and guys and a few too many coffees(shaky hands!) we headed up to Claxton Farms just outside of town. This place has a view to kill for. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky that day(believe or not, cloudy weather is better for natural light photos). Not to mention they had a resident llama named chocolate chip! That was probably my favorite part of the whole weekend…llamas should be a part of every wedding. The ceremony went perfectly and after a shooting portraits during cocktail hour the real party started. The beer on tap was all local and they even had an organic IPA(that’s about as Asheville as it gets!). The dance floor was outside the barn and cover with string lights. The whole wedding was a great deal of fun and Ty, Lucia and their friends and families made it so. Love the mountains and I love good people! If you get the chance definitely go have a drink at the Grand Bohemian near Biltmore Village. And if you’re thinking about doing a farm wedding near Asheville, you can’t go wrong with Claxton Farm.
